Our firm was founded by legendary Chicago trial lawyer Jay A. Canel in 1985. Peter King brought his experience as a CPA and trial attorney to the firm in 1986. Bill Jones joined the firm in 1991, fresh from completing his clerkship with the Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Canel retired in 1999, leaving King and Jones to carry on the Firm’s tradition of providing the best business litigation and trial advocacy in Chicago and throughout the United States.
